TEDxDetroit returns Wednesday, November 10th with three ways to join in and get inspired
Join us this fall as we stretch the boundaries of possibility and inspire action. The whole day is designed to celebrate creativity while fostering new connections, collaborations, and opportunities. You’ll end the day with a spring in your step, a head full of fresh ideas, and the fire in your belly rekindled.
TEDxDetroit presented by United Wholesale Mortgage, an annual gathering of the area’s leading thinkers, designers, entrepreneurs, educators, scientists, artists, and geeks, will return with a live event at The Icon Detroit. The popular day-long conference, which usually attracts thousands of attendees, will pivot to a hybrid format to better serve the needs of our community.
There will be three ways to join in TEDxDetroit this year:
- Live In-Theatre & TEDxLabs – Live, in-person at the 350-seat Icon Detroit Auditorium (a state-of-the-art performing art stage with stadium seating, with individual armchairs, desks, power outlets, and wifi. Vaccinations and masks are strongly encouraged. The event will follow state capacity restrictions. Tickets on sale now
- Live Viewing Party & TEDxLabs – Live, on-site at the Icon Detroit, but NOT in the auditorium. Watch the talks in one of the socially distanced viewing salons, participate in Q&As with the speakers between sets, explore the art, tech, and Detroit companies at the TEDxLabs expo, tour the campus on the Detroit Riverfront. Vaccinations and masks are strongly encouraged. The event will follow state capacity restrictions. Tickets on sale now
- Remote Streaming – Enjoy the talks streamed live on TEDxDetroit.com for free.
The whole event is designed to balance keeping our community safe, giving you plenty of options, and celebrating the creators who are still forging ahead in uncertain times.
